One of the big plot points of Helldivers 2 is the collapse of the planet Meridia into a wormhole using stolen Illuminate dark fluid. There was a big community effort to make it happen, with a countdown and everything, and then pretty disappointingly, they kinda just replaced it with the wormhole : no fancy collapse or anything.
So I decided to make one myself. Of course this is Mars, not Meridia, but it's just a general collapse shader where I could easily replace the planet with anything. The planet and its collapse is Blender, but the resulting wormhole was rendered in the program IFS, which has its own section on this site.
